I love the internet.
I love the freedom and power it grants individuals or businesses. I love helping people learn how to use it and how to reach their audiences in effective ways. I love how it passes information and allows us to track how information moves and ultimately get to the root of what really matters.
As a freelancer I offer internet marketing services. These services include but are not limited to; web design, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (PPC), content creation (blogging/copywriting) and social media strategy.
If you're interested in working with me I encourage you to get in touch, if you'd like to learn a bit more about me you can read on below.
I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). While there I explored a variety of fields before settling down to major in Professional and Technical Communication while minoring in New Media Design.
I blog about being a power user. This term can mean many things to different people but to generalize it's all about helping people become better, more efficient users of technology.
Upon returning to my hometown from college I found myself yearning for the connection I had to deaf culture at school. Thus, Deaf Socials was born, a monthly get together for the Deaf community in New Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
I discovered rock climbing around the age of 20 and have loved it ever since. It presents a truly unique physical and mental challenge that never gets old. One of my favorite aspects of rock climbing is the indoor/outdoor dynamic. It's almost like two completely different sports in one.
I play dodgeball on a weekly basis and have since getting into the intramural sport at college. I was delighted to find that Manchester had a rich dodgeball community and a very competitive league, if you have any interest in playing I strongly encourage you check it out - NHSSC.com
I've been hard of hearing since the age of four. Growing up with a hearing loss has given me a unique perspective on many topics along with occasional glimpses of an amazing sub-culture. At the age of 24 I underwent surgery for a cochlear implant in my left ear, I haven't looked back since.
I've been surrounded by videogames my entire life and as you can imagine, fascinated by them as well. I believe that video games have a big part to play in the future of the human race and that they'll transcend their primary role of "entertainment."
